I've lived in Maryland the majority of my 58 years and I have never been to Camden Yards. I turned my back on the Orioles when Davey Johnson was fired. I used to go see the Orioles at Memorial Stadium, regularly. Does any of this mean I will never go? Not at all. Peter Angelos is on probation this year. If he can go a year without mucking things up then it will be time to reconsider my position. The only thing Peter Angelos has proved to me is that he knows how to sue people, period. To answer your question, if a person is a fan it shouldn't matter that the team is young. The fans have to realize that they are part of the setting and can influence to outcome. Put down the newpapers and cellphones and watch the friggin' game!! Get involved! Cheer! Yell encouragement! I want to add that I'm sincerely glad you've come to Baltimore. In my opinion, you are the best thing to happen to the local sports media since Chuck Thompson. P.S. I'm not a Ravens fan because we took Cleveland's team away from them. It still doesn't feel right with me. Though, Cleveland fared far better than Baltimore did when the Colts left. And I'm glad that football is back in Baltimore.
