“And now it’s all over.” To quote my favorite line from one of my favorite movies,  Goodfellas, it  is essentially over for the Terps. Gary Williams did say yesterday the team will accept an NIT bid, much to my chagrin.

It was a  strange  2007-2008 campaign for Maryland. Last night’s loss was a microcosm of the whole thing. It featured the highest of highs… and the lowest of lows . And, in the end, we witnessed  a huge collapse.

I do believe this team had talent and they simply underachieved. That is quite the opposite of most of the teams that were coached by Gary Williams.

It certainly has been a  very dissapointing year.  Better times to come — I promise. I remain confident that next year’s team will be very good.

i I guess I’m supposed to say now… HOW BOUT DEM O’S !
