Gibbons is gone! ALLELUJIA!!  It took long enough!  I hope Jay enjoys the $11.9 million … he should save it and make it last.  He won’t be playing baseball anytime again soon!

By the way … I don’t credit the Orioles front office for this.  I chastise … it should have NEVER, EVER taken this long!!!!!  This rivals the Yankees for hanging on to Carl Pavano for 3 years too long.  There’s only one difference … the Yankees spent $40 million on Pavano, not the $24 million the Birds spent on Gibbons.
