Its taken me forever to get this blog up, but realizing its over for #4 makes me a little upset.  Brett Favre is COOL, Bottom-line.  He is a grown man playing a kids game, still acting like a child, and enjoying every moment of it.  I never get tired of seeing the fist waving in the air or him running down the field to jump in a team mates arms.  His numbers speak loudly, breaking most of Marino’s records, the streak, only having one losing season through out his career, MVP’s, Super Bowl Ring, and yes he has thrown more INT’s than any other QB in the history of the game.  But that’s our gunslinger.  So many memorable moments, some good and some bad.  The Monday night game after his fathers death( I cried , but that’s because i had the Raiders +9),  his battle with addiction to pain pills, winning 3 straight MVP’s,  upsetting Florida State with that magical drive, Death of his brother in law, his wife battling breast cancer, Hurricane Katrina and through all this the STREAK continued.  He had 253 straight games(275 if you include the playoffs).  Say what you want about Favre but he has to be in your top 5 greatest QB’s ever.  He is in mine, but don’t ask for the other 4 until Brady and Manning hang ‘em up.  So it goodbye to one of the most enjoyable players to watch and my definition of COOL.
