Anyone happen to catch the Nationals-Braves game last night on TV?  A beautiful new ballpark for the team in DC … a great game … welcome back baseball.  The president threw out the first pitch in a ceremonial manner.  A tradtion that was started in 1910.  I smiled.

What disgusted me more than words can describe is that the fact that fans actually had the balls to boo the president!?!?!!?!?!?  For crying out loud, this is friggin’ baseball, not a Congressional debate.  Save your damn political views for the political arena, not a baseball game!!!!  And have some damn respect for the office of the president … this wasn’t a pitcher who just gave up a 3-run home run in the 7th inning … it’s the freakin’ PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!!!!!  The place where you live!

If you don’t like President George W. Bush, fine.  That is your right as an American to disagree.  But show some class and respect for the president.  Take it from someone who fought for this country’s freedom … I didn’t spend 15 months in Iraq getting shot at and blown up so some idiots can disrespect my country and my boss on national TV in front of millions of people.  That just makes me sick.
