Sweet Sixteen pt2
So 3-1 last night, not too shabby. I believe that we have 3 very tough games tonite so lets roll through them to finish the elite 8.
Kansas Vs Villanova…. Lets get the easy one out of the way. Kansas guards > Nova guards. This is simple math to me. Much like Western Kentucky, Villanova’s run has come to an end. Kansas has too much fire power.
Wisconsin vs Davidson…. Wow, i have been touting Wisconsin all week. Best defensive team in the country, great head coach, and just a flat out unselfish and smart team. The badgers are 5 point favorites. As much as i love them, i am gonna go with America’s team this tournament. Give me Stephen Curry the one everyone knows. But i will also take the nations assist leader in Jason Richards and i think Meno and Lovedale can get it done in the middle. Ill take Davidson.
Memphis Vs Mich St…. I want to take Michigan St, i have loved there guard play throughout this tournament so far, but i think matches up really well with them. I just hope the free-throw shooting doesn’t haunt me in this game. Drew Neitzel can definitely shoot the Spartans in or out of this game. The firepower of Memphis is overwhelming with Douglas-Roberts and the great Derrick Rose in the back-court and Joey Dorsey blocking shots in the middle. Oh and don’t forget about the unsung Robert Dozier. I’m taking the Tigers….
Texas Vs Stanford…. My favorite game of the tourney…. I guaranteed it on The Anita Marks Show and i will stand by it. Stanford will win this game. Its all about who can play their style of game. The terrific back-court on Texas of Augustine and Abrams will be tough to handle for the Cardinal. Abrams is a 3 point stud, so the defense will have to be top notch. On the other hand Damion James will have his hands full with the Lopez sisters, Brooke and Robin. These 2 big men are fantastic and they are gonna be a handful. Also both are first round draft prospects in the NBA Draft. Stanford will slow this game down, and they will win it!!!!
Stanford….Memphis…..Kansas…..Davidson….
