Winding down ….

The stars continue to flow into radio row.  Today there were sightings of current and former players like Shawne Merriman (Chargers), Tony Dorsett (Cowyboys, Broncos), Carl Banks (Giants, Browns), Bob Sanders (Colts), Donovan McNabb (Eagles) and Peyton Manning (Colts).  The Ravens also invaded radio row.  Mike Flynn, Jason Brown, Todd Heap and Spencer Folau were all here.

Our interviews also included CBS reporter, Lesley Visser, NFL.com writer, Vic Carucci, comedian/actor Craig Gass, and actor Guy Torre, who does a fantasy football show on ESPN News.  The biggest SHOW of the day was when NFL super-agent Drew Rosenhaus, who also represents Ravens RB Willis McGahee, brought the Burger King Man over.  For some reason, I really wanted to line up and tackle the hell out of the Burger King man.  It would have been so much fun to blindside him and knock him on his ass.  Oh well … I never did it.  Lastly, Rich Eisen from the NFL Network came by during our last segment and shared his knowledge of what he calls “the greatest job on earth.”

Former Green Bay Packer and star of Super Bowl XXXI Dorsey Levens was here.  Dorsey had 84 all-purpose yards in that game in which Brett Farve got his only Super Bowl win.  Max Starks of the Steelers also was here … Max is a free agent and maybe could find a home here in Baltimore.  Former defensive end Eric Obagou chatted with us too.  Obagou played for the Jets, Bengals and Cowboys.  “Big E”, as he is more commonly known, is also the Under Armour spokesperson.  “We must protect this house!”  He said stay tuned for the Under Armour commercials during the Super Bowl.

Well, unfortunately for me, my play-by-play duties will take me out of radio row tomorrow morning so I will miss the last day of action here in Arizona.  I will be headed to Buffalo for a Loyola basketball game against Niagara.  It has been fun and I hope I can go again next season.

Sorry everyone, but I had to end this way … GO GIANTS!
