AND THE WINNER IS….
2 hours of waiting and we find out the winner is bartender, now pro, David Cook. The show was pretty entertaining with super stars and those who think they are still superstars. Of the verterans, Donna Summer, and Bryan Adams did really well, but George Michael seemed pre-occupied and out there. I’ll cut him some slack though because it looked like he had monitor problems…and he said he had a cold.
Did you notice American Idol contestant Amanda Overmeyer? She cracked me up. No smiles, no interest, and NO dancing skill. She totally wanted to be somewhere else.
It had to be a total trip for the contestants as they sang with some really big names. Brooke White on stage alone with Graham Nash. I’m so glad she remembered all the words. I was nervous for her.
I thought it was an entertaining show for the most part, but I wonder what it’s like for Randy, Paula and Simon. They have to sit there front and center for the whole show with little participation.
