I remember an old cartoon when I was a kid.  A little ballplayer was sitting on the steps looking sad. His mom asked “why are you so sad?” the kid replied “I had a no hitter going until the big kids got out of school.”

Folks, the “Big Kids” have had their way with the O’s this weekend. The first three series of the season were against teams with various issues, and the Birds took advantage. Boston is different, you KNOW they’re good. We saw this weekend that the Orioles just aren’t in that class. Not yet, anyway. It might be time to see some of the other kids now that Bergesen is on the way. The starting eight is pretty darn good. A talented arm or two would make a world of difference.

Just sayin’…………
