How To Post A Podcast

While writing a post, you can post an audio podcast. To begin, you must first upload your audio file. MP3 files will be the easiest o work with, and for now, that’s the file type we’ll be dealing with.
You can upload your MP3 file the same way that you upload an image, using your Upload Manager.
Once you’ve uploaded your MP3, right click file name, and click Properties. Close the Properties box.
Highlight and copy the Address in the properties box.
Go to the Podcasting Manager, above your Upload Manager.
Click the ADD MEDIA FILE button. A menu will open.
In the LOCATION text box, paste the Address that you just copied.
Leave all of the other options alone. We’ll just be using the default settings.
Below the media menu box, you’ll see this sentence:
"To control player location in your post, put where you want it to appear."
Highlight and copy "", and paste it into the post box.
Click SAVE AND CONTINUE, or PUBLISH.

While writing a post, you may want to post a video.
To do so, click the yellow "A" button in your Visual Editor.
A pop-up will appear. Place the url of the video into the text box. Click OK.
You’ll see the code that makes the video appear onyour page inserted into your post. DO NOT EDIT THE CODE! The video will display in your preview pane at the bottom of the page once you click SAVE AND CONTINUE, or it will display on your blog once you click PUBLISH.

While writing a post, you can add an image.
Scroll down to the UPLOAD/BROWSE ALL box.
Click the BROWSE button, next to FILE.
Select an image file from your computer. Stick with .jpg and .gif files.
Once your image is selected, click the UPLOAD button at the bottom of the DESCRIPTION box. Images do not need a title or description, just leave those boxes blank.
Your image will appear on the screen. You can choose to post the image at full size, or a thumbnail version.
If you want to post a thumbnail, you can choose for the thumbnail to link to the larger image file by choosing the LINK TO: FILE option. You will most likely never want to choose the LINK TO: PAGE option. If you don’t want to create a link, chosse LINK TO: NONE.
When you’re ready, move your cursor to the spot in your post that you want the image to appear, and then click the SEND TO EDITOR button, directly below your Upload Manager.
Once your image appears in your post, you can edit the size, allignment, or make the image a link to another web page, by simply clicking the image to select it, and then clicking the EDIT IMAGE button in your Visual editor. The EDIT IMAGE button looks like a photo of a tree, and is to the right of the ANCHOR button.

In the navigation bar, click WRITE.
To write a post, click WRITE POST.
Write a title in the TITLE bar.
Write your post in the POST box. Use the Visual editor to edit your text, similar to writing a Word Document.
Choose a category in the CATEGORIES box, to the right of the POST box. SHOW BLOG is the default category. Anything in the SHOW BLOG category will be posted on the front page of your blog.
Once you’re done writing your post, you can click the SAVE AND CONTINUE EDITING button to save your post and view a preview of your post by scrolling down to the bottom of the page.
To save your post as a draft to finish later, click the SAVE button.
Once you’re happy with your post, click the PUBLISH button to publish the post for public consumption.
