Hillary needs to get the hell out of the race! I understand that she has some slim chance of being the party’s nominee, but slim and fat are in the same car and they’re leaving town! Listen, as a Democrat I just want the White House back. I know that Hill and Barry are both Democrats. I know that they will unify and push forward after this round of primaries and set forth to sink McCain. I just get the feeling that all this in-fighting and constant bickering will alienate the base and run off the undecideds. I may be wrong. Come to think of it, I really haven’t seen much of McCain on TV lately. I just feel as if people are growing tired of this ‘poisonous ping-pong’ the candidates are volleying back and forth. United we stand! Hillary, exit stage left.

Happy 30th anniversary to SPAM- you know, that annoying junk email. Thirty years ago some government official sent a spam message to other government officials on what was the pre-cursor to today’s internet.  Effectively he became the godfather of Spam.
Unfortunately- I can’t help you with email. But I can help you opt-out of junk snail mail- at least the one from credit card companies saying you are pre-approved for their cards.  Call 888-5-OPT-OUT.  You’ll need to call from your home phone and be able to provide info on yourself.  You can also check out www.optoutprescreen.com/ .Â
As far as junk from direct marketers- try out this site:Â www.dmaconsumers.org/cgi/offmailing
Good luck- save a tree.

Over the last bunch of weeks the world of politics has been focused on the Democrats and continued fighting between Hillary Clinton and the presumed nominee Barrack Obama. Pundits and party leaders are worried that if the in-fighting amongst Democrats continues into the convention then they have a HUGE chance of blowing the November general election.  They’re probably correct on that assumption.
I recently read that people who are conservative tend to be happier than liberals. Why?  Honestly, I’m not quite sure but recent developments could prove that both conservatives and liberals may end up miserable come November.
You see, the Republicans don’t want to be outdone by all the hullaboo the Democrats have been stirring up amongst themselves. While John McCain is the clear nominee, some bloggers and political insiders believe that Ron Paul will mount a revolt against John McCain at their convention.  I’m not sure what kind of revolt it’ll be but whatever it is it won’t help the Republicans show their unified side to the undecided.  Add to that the pending announcement that Bob Barr will run for President as a Libertarian (something Paul did in 1988) and you’ve got the makings of a bad war of attrition as those two candidates are bound to inspire the conservatives and solidify their disdane for McCain.  The really right portion of the right wing doesn’t find favor with Arizona Senator and the Ron Paul and Bob Barr supporters can only help do to the Republicans what Ralph Nader helped do to Al Gore back in 2000.Â
It makes me happy to see that the Republicans are trying to find a way to enhance what the Democrats seem to have been perfecting. Â

First off, where was the girl’s mother? This girl Marche was seriously thinking they were going to let her into the prom dressed like a stripper? Her midriff was all hanging out. She was barely covered at all and that’s why I ask, “Where was her mother?”
Don’t get me wrong. If I was in high school I’d have been all for seeing this chick show up wearing next to nothing. I guarantee the brothas at this school were also rooting for her to be waved through. But the fact of the matter is the prom is supposed to be an occasion described more as grand than ghetto! Marche’s outfit was doomed from the outset and to me it’s unfathomable that those in her inner circle could be that clueless. Young Marche should have brought along an alternate “gown”, just in case. Because when all was said and done, it’s her own damn fault that she got turned away wearing that slingshot! It just goes to show that some people Marche to their own beat.
