NFL POWER RANKINGS: Allison Ranks!-Week #4

allisonrankspic.jpg   …here you go guys…it’s Ms. Allison Ranks!

OUCH! The Ravens are free falling…#15 this week. Might we all be in line for a Saints vs. Colts SB? I guess Archie and his clan would be ok with that one…just imagine all the Manning commercials we’ll have to sit through…LORDY! Nice job Allison…BULLDOG

Week 9 Power Rankings…by Allison:

1. Indianapolis Colts (8-0) We’ll see what the Colts are made of next week in the annual made-for-tv showdown with Tom Brady and the Pats

2. New Orleans Saints (8-0) The Saints overcame a big deficit again this week by scoring a ton of points at the end of the game once again

3. Minnesota Vikings (7-1) Did any team do more this week than the Vikings? With GB and Chicago tanking, Minnesota practically locked up the NFC North … without even stepping on the field.

4. New England Patriots (6-2) The Patriots tamed the wildcat Sunday, will they be able to lasso in the Colts next?

5. Cincinnati Bengals (6-2) Ochocinco didn’t need to pay off the refs yesterday to get that win over the Ravens

6. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2) The Steelers are firing on all cylinders right now and will be tough to beat in the showdown for the AFC North next week

7. Dallas Cowboys (6-2) The Cowboys have won 4 straight and face 3 teams with losing records over the next 3 weeks… The schedule sets them up well to see what Romo can do in December

8. Denver Broncos (6-2) I bet the Broncos feel the surging Chargers breathing down their back. Denver has to fix their offense before they take on the Chargers on 11/22.

9. San Diego Chargers (5-3) In the battle of the draft-day-swapped QB’s, Rivers came out on top Sunday

10. Atlanta Falcons (5-3) Behind Michael Turner’s season high rushing day, the Falcons ran past an angry DeAngelo Hall and the Redskins

11. Arizona Cardinals (5-3) Kurt Warner followed up 5 interceptions last week with 5 TD passes Sunday

12. Houston Texans (5-4) Kris Brown hit a 56 yarder in this game, but couldn’t connect on the game tying FG as time expired

13. Philadelphia Eagles (5-3) McNabb’s streak of 118 straight passes without a pick ended on the first drive yesterday as did the Eagles hope to claim first place in the NFC East

14. New York Giants (5-4) The Giants look tired… The Giants look old… The Giants look forward to their bye week

15. Baltimore Ravens (4-4) Ochocinco sent the Ravens defense deodorant last week… It didn’t work, they still stunk on Sunday!

16. New York Jets (4-4) There are a ton of mediocre teams in the NFL, are the Jets the best of the bunch?

Bottom Feeder: The bye week… The bye week had ownership of most of the really bad teams in the league. The Browns, Bills, Rams, and Raiders all took a breather this week and hopefully figured out how to score points and prevent other teams from doing so.
