NFL POWER RANKINGS: Allison Ranks! - Week #6
Dear Ms. Ranks,
Turn that frown upside down. Walk back to the light. Dont give up the ship. Hold on tight. Lordy, the Ravens have done faded away - huh? Let the debate begin. NIce job!
Your Friend,
BULLDOG
Week 11 Power Rankings…
1. New Orleans Saints (10-0) The Saints plan to have all of their injured players back next Monday night to face the Patriots… They’re pretty good without them.
2. Indianapolis Colts (10-0) The Ravens beat themselves to allow the Colts to remain undefeated
3. Minnesota Vikings (9-1) Brett Favre is the most efficient passer in the league this season as the Vikings continue to stomp on their opponents
4. New England Patriots (7-3) The Patriots punished Mark Sanchez for their mistakes in Indianapolis
5. San Diego Chargers (7-3) The Chargers completely dominated their rival Broncos to surpass them for the AFC West lead
6 Arizona Cardinals (7-3) Even without Kurt Warner for the second half, the Cardinals were able to hang on for their 5th win on the road this season
7. Cincinnati Bengals (7-3) Unbelievable loss to the Raiders in Oakland… Can you say trap game?
8. New York Giants (6-4) It took overtime, but the Giants got back on track behind their young WR’s and a career game by Manning after losing 4 straight
9. Green Bay Packers (6-4) Hopefully the loss of Aaron Kampman and Al Harris for the season won’t ruin the defense as the Packers have found ways to stop opponents… The O-line still needs to find a way to stop opponents from hitting Rodgers
10. Jacksonville Jaguars (6-4) The Jaguars needed the last minute of the game again on Sunday to pull out a victory against the Bills
11. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) A loss in OT to the Chiefs after Big Ben takes a knee to the head puts a huge dagger through the Steelers chances of repeating as Super Bowl Champs.
12. Denver Broncos (6-4) Brandon Marshall fought Knowshon Moreno on the sideline and Kyle Orton on the field… Looks like losing is taking its toll on the once again disgruntled receiver
13. Philadelphia Eagles (6-4) The Eagles overcame their errors and improved in the red zone to hand the Bears their 3rd consecutive loss
14. Dallas Cowboys (6-4) For the second consecutive week, the Cowboys didn’t score a TD until the final minute of the game
15. Atlanta Falcons (5-5) Atlanta has lost 4 of the last 5 after starting 4-1. They’re still alive in the wild-card race though.
16. Miami Dolphins (5-5) Ricky Williams is running wild(cat) as the Dolphins have overcome their 0-3 start to be in the hunt. (I just wanted a new team in here this week)
Bottom Feeder: Cleveland got 4 TD passes from the same guy who couldn’t find the field last week, but a very obvious pass interference call in the end-zone set up their 9th loss of the season.
