The O’s made it official today.  Jamie Walker was released and LHP Alberto Castillo was recalled from AAA Norfolk.  Jamie Walker was a great teammate and an even better person, but unfortunately, he was a lefty specialist that couldn’t get lefties out anymore.  That became a bit of a problem.  Even though the club still owes Walker approx. 3 million dollars, this was the right move.  It’s also more evidence to me that this team is moving in the right direction.
