• Students from the Broadcasting Institute of MD are competing - head to head - to create the best marketing campaign for one of the nation's most renowned hospitals: Cancer Treatment Centers of America.

    Throughout October, cameras will follow two teams of four as they meet with the hospital, learn their individuals team's challenge, brainstorm ideas, debate concepts and ultimately produce their best creative advertising campaign for CTCA.

    CBS Radio will post weekly webisodes, giving you a bird's eye view to all the drama, struggles and successes these two teams find over the exciting upcoming weeks.

    BEST OF ALL: YOU get to be the judge and tell us which team delivered the best creative campaign for the client. We'll post the actual radio commercials, online spots and video pre-rolls right here. By casting your vote, you're able to tell us what creative held true to the clients needs and ultimately what campaign moves you best! The team that receives the most votes will be crowned our 2010 Executive and will receive a incredible "Executive" prize pack.

Team 1: Team Dedication

My name is Matthew Smith and I am a 23-year-old living in Westminster, Md. I am currently a News/Sports major at the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland. Sports have been a part of my life since I was a young child and I could not think of a better occupation for myself.

My name is Katie Arnold and I am 24 years old from Annapolis, Md. I am currently a News/Sports major at the Broadcasting Institute of Md. I decided to go into broadcasting because I have a very strong passion for the news world. I look forward to being able to inform and educate the public about what is happening in the world around them.

My name is Dan McLhinney. I am 19 years old from Bel Air, Md. I am a News/Sports major at the Broadcasting Institute of Md. I got into broadcasting because of my love for sports and I am looking forward to a long and successful career in sports broadcasting.

Team 2: Team Next Generation

My name is Kyle Wilson and I’m an 18 year old from Worton, Md. I’m currently a radio major at the Broadcasting Institute of Md. I love all types of music, love making people smile and being creative. This is the perfect field to put my talents to use.

My name is Sarah Petropoulakis and I am a 21 year old from Columbia, Md. I am currently a Radio major at the Broadcasting Institute of Md. Broadcasting has always been in my blood. I was Editor –in-Chief of my high school paper and wrote for my college newspaper. I have truly found my calling.

My name is William Gillespie. I am 38 years old and a News/Sports major at the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland. I began classes in broadcasting in order to help inform people and use my creativity to educate and entertain, having an affinity for the radio and television medium.
